History
In business for more than 20 years, CBR Laser first specialized in the field of cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. In 2010, the company diversified its service offering by acquiring its first bending machine.
The year 2011 is marked by the expansion of the plant in order to design a new building for the folding process and to make way for the tube laser cutter.
A year later, CBR Laser acquired 3 new folders and 2 new lasers, as well as another building for the storage and expansion of the laser park.
In 2013, CBR Laser acquired the biggest bending machine in Canada. In the following years, the company continued its expansion by purchasing 4 plasma/ oxy cutters, 6 electric folding machines and 3 new lasers.
The company has not stopped growing since its creation. From ten employees in 1996, CBR Laser has grown in 2019 to over 800 workers in 6 factories to serve its thousands of customers across North America.
Today, the company operates in fields as varied as road, rail and naval transport, energy, aerospace and agri-food, medical, industrial and agricultural equipment as well as structures for civil engineering.
